Your evaporator encounters a defect

Your evaporator encounters a defect, the evaporator grill is pressed

The fact that the vanes of the evaporator are twisted at reception is in most cases due to transport. If that happens during the lifetime of the product, it could only come from a shock.

The performance of the heat pump is never affected. This can happen during transport, or if the heat pump is shocked

1/ At the reception:

It is important to check the status of your product when it is received and note this anomaly on the delivery slip.
Next, it is important to check the pressure gauge.

If the pressure is abnormally low, we advise you to refuse the product, as this may be the result of a gas leak.
If the pressure is good, then it remains only aesthetic. All you have to do is reposition the vanes by hand to ensure better air evacuation.

2/ During a shock

It is rare for a shock to go so far as to cause a gas leak from the heat pump. If the pressure gauge remains good, simply straighten the vanes by hand or using a comb.
If there is a gas leak, there is obviously a failure that needs to be fixed.
