The heat pump starts, no error message is displayed, but it does not heat up.
When the heat pump does not heat up, it may come from the compressor that does not start or from insufficient running time.
1 / the compressor
For the heat pump to heat up, make sure the compressor starts. To do this please check the pressure gauge that the needle goes up when the heat pump starts.
Example of a manometer:
When stopped In operation
- If the needle does not go up, please refer to the "condenser problem" section (see FAQ "the compressor does not start)
- If the needle goes up, the compressor starts: the heat pump generates a lot of heat. The problem would come from the operating time.
2 / The operating time
In order to maximize the performance of your heat pump, make sure that the installation instructions are followed. To reach the desired temperature, we advise you to operate the heat pump (as well as filtration) 24H / 24H until the desired temperature is reached. Once reached, you can then decrease the operating time to maintain the temperature of the water.
The condition of the evaporator also affects the performance of the PAC. So make sure it is clean. For this, Cleanpac cleaner will be perfect.
